May 11, 200422 yr The FMC should calc that out for you, if not, you can just line select the OM and manually input it there.
May 11, 200422 yr Also don't forget to put the arrival airport in the overhead BEFORE starting to program the arrival.

May 11, 200422 yr Commercial Member The FMC has got nothing to do with DH! You set the DH on the EFIS panel selector (where you set the modes for the ND, Barometric pressure etc). You have the option of setting a DH, or decision height, for precision approaches (ILS's) or MDA, minimum descent altitude, for non-precision approaches (visual, VOR, NDB etc).Regards,MarkPS regarding OM, never heard of it in conjunction with the FMS. Usually OM is the outer marker. Mark Foti Author of aviaworx - https://www.aviaworx.com
May 11, 200422 yr This is not an Airbus ! In an airbus you can put the DH/MDA in the FMGC (appr-page). I think DaveNC's comments were quite funny! Though he has forgotten to mention that one should first enter the aircraft's GFC-code to display the environment-config page and then enter the DH *g*Stefan Bergert
