forgot to mention that I'm running XP Home on 32 bit. I'll try the above mentioned. Ran so many months without the issue then it pops back up, annoying.

Need some help troubleshooting. The past few flights I have made into KATL (Imaginesim) on about a 5 mile final I get the dreaded OOM meeting in FS9. This is while running Activesky, Imaginesims KATL and on VATSIM. When this happened last year, I refreshed my page file and that resolved the issue. I'm thinking it's an Imaginesim issue, because no other airport will it do that. I'm running an E8400 stock, 4 gigs of DDR3 memory, ATI 3850HD and FS is on a seperate drive. Could KATL have a memory leak?

updated drivers, twice, to latest driver. Still having this issue. beginning to think I need to uninstall FSX and reinstall.

Right, see the pic attached. This started without any type of warning. I jus started up the sim one day and the clouds lost all thier shapes. Giant blocks in the sky. I suspected a correct video driver for my ATI HD3850 so I downloaded and installed the latest drivers. Still the same. I did a repair with the DVD's. Still the same. I'm at a loss. Anybody seen this?

I have moved my ASV to my D drive where FS is. I have a C and a D drive (D is the sytem drive). When I try to run the install, it wants to install it to my C drive. Is there a work around for thisThanksDave

Bingo, if i force the secondary server, it works. If I force the Primary, it wont connect. My ISP is fine. I can move all around hifisim even download updates. ZoneAlarm is set to all ASV through, so that is not the issue. Sorry to drag this up, but I am having the same issues.ASV6.5 will load, I can pull a metar, but when I hit refresh to start the program, I can get as far as Connecting to HifiSim's servers and there it just sits. Never downloads anything. I tried moving the key file but that didn't work. Funny thing is, I tried it yesterday afternoon and it connected without issue, I tried it again last night and got the same thing, connecting to hifisim servers but never downloads. I did delete FSX from my system and an using FS9 only. I also have the new .net 3.0, I wonder if that could be causing it. Im at a loss.Regards,David

Does anyone else get slow load time with these three installed? My system (old AMD3000+) takes forever to load. Might just be my systemDave

I currently use a dial up 56k connection(actually only manage 50K average) when flying online with VATSIM. Usually I have no issues. But lately when I fly an event or fly in, my system starts to bog down, I get frame rate stutters and more than a few times complete lock up. I run FS9.1 on XP home, AMD 3000+, 1 gig ram, ATI 9800 SE 128 megs. Once i shut down FS and bring her back up, offline I have to issues. Once I get back online with VATSIM, like last night with the DC fly in, I get "req send/recive player" error messages, no response from ATC and massive frame rate issues. Anyone know what could be causingt this?David Keech

I updated my SB Audigy 2 drivers and that has apparently fixed the issue. Not sure why. But I completed a flight last night and she was running perfectly.

Richard, with all due respect. What I mean by old is sometimes metars come across 1 hour to 1.5 hours old. I control also and see the zulu time stamp on the ASRC screen. I believe VATSIM pulls thier weather information from a different source than, say AS or even the default FS program. Example: I can be sitting in Orlando in the middle of a thunderstorm, according to my latest AS update, yet the controllers are telling me partly cloudy skies. Then after we are airborne, the controllers metar updates and shows the thunderstorm. Maybe one day we will get a program to give more instantaneous updates on the weather in the real world. Until then we enjoy what we have.I am not complaining, after all this is all free, so I will take what I can get. :D You guys do a great job!

AS2004.5 will not suppress range as per my options. I was flying from ATL to MIA the other day and it was pulling metars from CLT, RDU, MEM...etc. I have the suppression range set at 50 miles and the range suppression box checked. Any thoughts as to what I am doing wrong.

I have had the 737-700 for about 6 months now and have been thrilled. My Dad got me the -800 for christmas. Well, I have flown it a few times and it is even better than the 700.Here is my issue, I installed the 800 and flew it offline. It did great. So I decided to take her up for a flight online with VATSIM. I loaded up the aircraft, got everything set, FMC and a like. Minimized FS and started my modem (I am on dial up). While it was dialing, I went back into FS and discovered that I had no sound. Just the recirculating fans, no engine noise, no toggle clicks, no seat belt ding, nothing. I closed down FS and restarted her, no sound. I reloaded the computer, went into FS and the 738 sound was back, went to restart the dial up process and while it was dialing I went back into FS and the sound was gone again. I even tried it by waiting until the dial up process was dome before going back into FS. It apparently is conflicting with my modem. Has anyone heard of this? My PSS works fine, as does my other add on aircraft, just the PMDG is doing this. I love this aircraft and love flying online. Can someone help me. I have tried this in window mode and full screen, nothing works.Dave
