CTD and worse with VC

Featured Replies

Hey All,I'm pretty sure I've read here some posts on some issues foundwith the new 800/900, and thus 600/700 virtual cockpit, and I cant find them anymore.Since I purchased the 800/900, I too often experience CTD whenI load the VC model.I run an ATI 9800XT with 1Go DDRam .I didnt have the problem with the 600/700. Today, the Sim even crashed the whole system, and this had neverhappened before.Any know issue with the VC?Regards,Arnaud S, LFPG France

Nope, no known issues with the VC.If something crashed the whole system it's probably related to your drivers/OS and not to FS and PMDG.Regards,

Have you changed anything in your system recently?Try lowering the AGP from 8x to 4x.I had a lot problems at 8x maybe it's that even if i don't have your vcard.

Thanks for replying guys,As a matter of fact, I was also trying to find what I had changedrecently before the CTD begin, that is, two weeks ago.I finally recalled that, in the ATI Advanced Drivers menus, trying to improve to texture rendering, I enabled the TrueForm option. This, probably, was the culpit. If it may help some ATI users, maybe.I've been testing during a day without anymore crashes.regards,Arnaud S, LFPG
