He can't logon because he needs to add avsim.com AND avsim.net to tools-->internet options-->privacy-->websites-->edit-->allowed in his IE.

Hi,As I'm not a member of simflight.com and I don't intend to be I'll answer here.Judging from the screen shot in that thread he seems to be well below his Vref speeds. My best guess is that the stall protection kicks in when he's experiencing trouble. He also needs to know the difference between the FMA and the MCP buttons. The A/P mode can not be told by looking at which buttons are lit on the MCP. You have to look at the FMA on the PFD.Hope it helps,

He should look at the FD.....compared to the GS indicator, it appears to be climbing to capture the GS.....he needs to understand this isn't just another FS9 add-on .... ranting without understanding helps solve nothing....as to the other part of his posting about Invalid NAV Info, he needs to put in the app crs-hdg from the FMC approach ref page into the MCP. He may also be using something like FSNav in the 'auto-tune' RADIOs mode .... or he hit the wrong key and did it by accident.....either way...The NG didn't do it.....;-) Paul M."Big Sky---Little Bullet"---For All Other Impediments There's TCAShttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/ng_driver.jpg

He is not following the proper procedures for a CAT II/III approach he should be using vor/loc until 1 click below the glide slope, then activate approach. Once established on the glide slope engage the second autopilot. If you are engaging the autoland below the glide slope it is going to climb to intercept the G/S. As far as the NAV info problem that sounds like the NAVAID that the FMC is trying to pull up from NAVDATA is not in the data base. I would suggest updating to the most recent cycle 0405 and trying that particular navaid by trying to enter it in to legs and see what it says. Anyway good luck and refer him to T. Metzinger and Freds tutorials that are on avsim these will help him on the procedural aspects.
