Featured Replies

Hi all PMDG and 737NG enthusiasts.I will be giving a tutorial in person in Christchurch, New Zealand on 13JUL04 starting at 1830-1900 local time there. The format will be:Brief introduction to various LNAV and VNAV modes and what they can do for us,The inter-relationship of the MCP, AFDS and FMCFull cockpit entry and setup for a flight exactly as we do it in the real worldQuick demonstration of use of the Assumed Temperature Method.A flight from NZCH to NZWN in real time.I will fly my rig for the demonstartion and we have been very kindly given the use of the facilities of the lads at: http://www.simhardware.co.nz These guys are amazing and if you want to see where simming can take you then you need to have a look at their site.We will have the use of their projector so that everyone can see what I am doing as we chat and we are expecting 15 or so real people to attend. This event is free of charge and Stuart Paul has kindly offered to assist by photocopying some info pages etc. We are also hoping to webcast it on their webcam. Several people have also indicated that they wish to make video records of the session as well.At this stage I do not anticipate being able to take questions online as well but will also do another online turorial within the next week or so. I wil start a seperate thread later today on this tutorial and it's format.Rgds,

bumpI think this qualifies for an anchor.

The flight will be done using the Geezer Guide for PMDG Version3 and I just can't wait for all those squirrely question I just know you are going to ask and I will have no hope of answering :DI will also bring all my Boeing books for reference.C U Tonight,

Gday Brad again :)Is this just using the ordinary Simhardware.co.nz webcam (previously for the 763) or will they be put up a link? Hi,It would be nice if one of the moderator of this forum or Ken could pin this thread.ThanksMichael

John,You would be surprised by the number of PMDG users "down under". I thought it would make sense to give them a chance to be under the spotlights but if you are of a different opinion, no offence.Michael

Awesome! If you ever do one in Wellington, I'm there!Yeah John, he lost me there too.....Cheersallblack

Hi Guys,My point was that pinning the thread would have been nice to give a greater exposure to a topic which is highly interesting and which show the level of sophistication of the PMDG users in general and of the Aussies and Kiwis in particular.ChhersMichael
