July 11, 200421 yr Hey Guy's! I am looking for some Info on Merging the PMDG 737 Panel with Kittyhawk's 737 Model? I love both PMDG and Kittyhawk's 737NG's! But is there anything special i need to copy over to Kittyhawk's 737 CFG File from PMDG's CFG File? Like Electricl etc.....? Or is it ok to just Alias the Panel in the Kittyhawk's panel Folder? I would greatly apprecite the Info on this? And thak's for the AWESOME Panel and Plane PMDG Guy's! MIKE
July 12, 200421 yr Okay, I will bite. Why would you want to do such a thing? What is wrong with the original product? Bob K.
July 12, 200421 yr I've merged a few payware panels and freeware aircraft. But only when the visual model was significantly better or because the freeware aircraft had a lot more repaints available. Neither is the case here... so why would you? Just curious, not insulting.Willhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/ng_driver.jpg
July 12, 200421 yr Mike,I don't believe there is any easy way to do this. PMDG's design is pretty integrated. George Morris
July 12, 200421 yr It is possible. It is not worth the effort, however...lol. I did it before the 800/900 was released, with the older FFX/SGA -800, so that I could fly an actual -800 for my VA. You will have problems, if you are not careful, with FMC CofG values. Now that the official -800 is here, I have to agree, there is no point, and besides, no offense intended, but the procedure is involved enough that if you have to ask how to do it, you won't be able to without trouble, and I have no intention of supporting my method, sorry. Regards,Brian Doney
December 29, 200421 yr Whoops, sorry guy's1 forgot i had this thread on here! too busy! LOL..well i like the PMDG model also, bi ut like Kittyhwak's model too, and a plus for me is the In-flight Fexing wings with Turbulence! I am a sucker for Wingviews'! Especially if the wings Bounce!!:)..anyway, i just did a short flight last night with Kittyhawk's 737-700, and with Zero fuel in the Center Tank, and about 35% in the wing tank's, i set the AUtopilot Manually, to level off at 15,000ft, and for some reason it leveled off at 14,000ft, not 15! Then maybe about 5min later, the plane suddenly took a steep nose dive into the Ocean! I could not recover it, and i did not turn the Autopilot off! it did all this Diving on it's own! So i know u don't really support this kind of stuff, but is it safe to say that the PMDG panel will not work well with the Kittyhawk 737 Planes!? thank's for all your input guy's! MIKE:)
December 29, 200421 yr Yes, it is safe to say that the PMDG panel will not work very well with the Kittyhawk models. :)
December 29, 200421 yr The panel would rather sling itself to its death than be in that plane lol.....Joke:-hang ________________________________________________________________________________ Jeremy 9800X3D OC'd -30 +200MHZ | 64GB CL30 RAM | RTX 5080 | Windows 11 23H2| Bravo Throttle | Alpha Yoke | CH Pedals | Logitech Radio Panel | SmoothTrack | AAO
