A little disappointed

Featured Replies

I`ve just bought, downloaded and installed the B1900D plus Service Update 1 and must say that I am very impressed, not only with such a beautiful aircraft but also the fabulous additional liveries.Under the circumstances therefore, it might seem that I am being somewhat "picky" BUT I was disappointed to find that the Gauges and AutoPilot do not expand into larger visuals when clicked upon. The problem with getting older is that ones eyesight just ain`t so good and I personally find any way of increasing the gauge size (albeit only temporarily) is very, very useful.Does any have any knowledge of a "patch" or addon programme that would assist in overcoming this small problem??.Many thanksGeorge Aldridge

George,Because the default gauges are used, they don't have that option to enlarge them. The only thing I can suggest is purchasing the Reality XP gauges. They're VERY good, can be used on the Beech as well as other aircraft.

I have made a modified panel which will enlarge the primary gauges and the autopilot, by clicking in a click zone on the glare shield. It's only for the 2D panel, and it's a quick and dirty edit, no refinements.I could send it to you or attach it here if it's ok with the PMDG staff. (It's only a panel.cfg and a simple XML gauge which I have made.) I could also send it to the PMDG staff first if they would like to take alook at it first.I would like to add that the best solution, imo, would be to buy the RXP gauges, as they are superb compared with the default.CheersPeter Nielsen

Ok I'll try to attach the file.Unzip the file in temporary folder, and follow the instructions in the readme. Remeber to back up!I hope it works with the attachment (crossing fingers)CheersPeter

Thanks Guys - I`ll have a look at the Reality XP gauges.........meanwhile Peter, as I have not been able to download or obtain your attachment from the above reply, I would be most grateful if you could mail it to me at [email protected] thanksGeorge

Delete that last request Peter - I`ve tried a different Browser and got your file - now to try it outagain - many thanksGeorge

Too late, it's all ready in the mail. :-lol CheersPeter

Now thats what I call a double good service :-)I have installed the cfg and cab files into the Beech and it isEXACTLY what I wanted.I`m really chuft to oieces :-)I`ll still have a look at Reality XP because of the use with other aircraft but meanwhile I can fly my Beech with pleasure. Many thanks for your help PeterKind regardsGeorge

I'm glad it worked for you. :-)You will not regret buying the jetline 2 from RXP, if you fly by instruments. They are alot more smooth and precise, than most normal gauges. CheersPeter
