July 18, 200421 yr I am a veteran PSS pilot but a newbie to PMDG's excellent and challenging 737NG, and a couple of things are bothering the heck out of me: First of all I have programed the Stairs into the MSFS Assignments menu as instructed, but nothing makes those stairs budge. So far I have only been using the default aircraft...where do I find the "User Interface" to see if they have this capability. Then there is the issue of the Virtual Cabin. The only thing I can find on this in past posts is that I need some kind of an add on in the way of a comera to visit the cabin. Surely there must be a better way than that! Vernon Brown
July 18, 200421 yr Vernon,As far as the stairs, if I remember right you have to map to the (pmdg edit: sorry mistaken) key assignment. For the cabin, you need Active Camera to enter/walkaround. It's a great add-on and well worth the $$
July 18, 200421 yr Vernon, As far as the stairs go I think that when you are selecting the aircraft it will say whether it has stairs. For example I have a Lufthansa 737-700 and it says Lufthansa W/Stairs in the menu. Only certain aircraft have these so you need to look for them when you are downloading the repaints. July 18, 200421 yr Commercial Member Vernon,To get the Stairs to work you will need to select a Model with Stairs from the "Select Aircraft" Menu. The default is 2D only 600 model without stairs. You should have a choice of models labeled for example, 700, 700 with Winglets, 700 With Stairs and 700 with Stairs and Winglets. You will also find various versions that load the 2D only flight deck, 2D plus the Virtual Cockpit and 2D, VC and Virtual Cabin Model. The 2D, VC and Virtual Cabin model is where you will find access to the Virtual cabin with Active Cam. This is a seperate purchase and can be found at www.anticyclone.be RegardsPaul Gollnick :-cool Technical Operations/Customer Operational SupportPrecision Manuals Development Groupwww.precisionmanuals.comhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/devteam.jpg Paul Gollnick Manager Customer/Technical Support Precision Manuals Development Group www.precisionmanuals.com
