July 25, 200421 yr Does it make any difference which NG you fly (-600/-700/-800/-900)?I'm not seeing this when I fly the -800... except for some slight movement of the 1 and 12 spoilers. Is your speedbrake lever moving past the FLT DET in flight? To get this problem in real life, you would have to pull the speedbrake lever to about 30 degrees (FLT DET is about 35.5 deg) and have a failure of the interlock mechanism (Perhaps the cable mechanism on the right hand landing gear which tells the speedbrake system that the aircraft is on the ground is faulty?).Cheers.Ian.
July 26, 200421 yr Well can you give a hand here and tell us if the 800-900 has this issue or is it only the 600-700 series?Best Wishes,[h4]Randy J. July 29, 200421 yr I believe it's because you are the only one having this issue? Mine certainly do not do it and every single person in this thread seem to also not have it, so it is a great mystery :) Robert has been a busy on the wonderful 744 and pehaps missed this thread so can you write a note to the [email protected] mail and see if they have any answers for you...Best Wishes,[h4]Randy J.
