Strange FPS Problem

Featured Replies

Hi !I have this Problem for a long time, but it did not appear in the last time, now it appears very often. Sometimes after a while of simming with FS9, the FPS goes straight down to lower than 7 FPS, it's not possible to use FS at this rate. But, the rate goes only down when the aircraft is moving on ground., if the aircraft stops or lift ups the Error is not happening. But if i touch down again or roll again on ground , the FPS go down again.Any Ideo how to fix that, or anyone with same prob? This is not an PMDG issue, other Aircraft are the same thing.I sometimes can fix it with minimize FS9 and going back to FS9 after a while, than the FPS are normal again.Take a look at the Pics.ThanksMarcello

Marcello,First, there are lots of reasons why this could be happening in your config (to many to list). One of the first issues to look at is to check out what else is running in the background which could be slowing the machine down (virus protection, anit-spyware, real audio auto update, etc). Tools like FSAutoStart can help with these issues. Also, there are many posts in the general FS forum which provide step by step instructions and suggestions on how to improve FS9 frame rates. Take a look, they should be helpfulFinally, it is helpful if you post your system specifications along with a question like this. Gives us further information to work with for trying to help out.
