July 31, 200421 yr Just curious if there is any difference between versions. The reason I ask is, I have a 15% off coupon from PC Aviator that I would use. (hey, 6 dollars is 6 dollars!!!). But if the CD edition is different, I won't go that direction.ThanxRick
July 31, 200421 yr Well that depends on what you are comparing it to. It is not the same as the 800-900 package which requires another purchase to have fully working virtual cockpit "overhead". It is the same as the downloadable 600-700 base updated to Version 1.3. So unless you actually have the 800-900, the newest PMDG patches will be of no use for you. Best Wishes,[h4]Randy J. July 31, 200421 yr Author No, I don't have any of the 737NG yet. Have the B1900 and like it. Was just wondering if the packaged versions would have to updated, etc, with patches. Sometimes the CD versions have some extras! Will definitely be purchasing, but as I said a $6.00 saving is just that. Does anyone have a special price if you purchase both the 600-700 and the 800-900 together?Rick
July 31, 200421 yr Ah ok, then no, there would be no difference when you upgrade to the 800-900. I believe the CD is Version 1.3. and the only availble patches from V 1.3 require the 800-900 installed to use (it uses some advancements from the 800-900 and applies them to the 600-700) There was a special when the 800-900 was first released, don't know if there is another discont offering at present, I don't believe so but the 800-900 is cheaper than the base pack (600-700).
