I see what you are saying. I also had everything working fine until the update. The only issue I had after the update was in the sound, which seemed to work fine before installation. As far as the trim sound goes, that is intermittent for me, but I believe it is supposed to be that way. I will adjust the trim, but no sound comes until there is significant movement of the trim. It hasn't disappeared totally for me. This was the case before the update anyway. I never had any of these other issues with the spoilers or battery drain or engine failure. I did have the bouncing landing, but that seems to have been fixed, either by my techniques or by the update. Either way, your theory may be correct about the sound; maybe there is some error. I wish I was smart enough to help you! Good luck with it.Brad

Hi BobI think I've found the answer to this problem. I was having another look through the handbooks and looking at all the options in the menus when I noticed that, under the PMDG>737NG>Styles>Sounds menu, my volume was set to mid-level instead of normal. Once I set it to normal all my switches started to click at the same volume once more. Also, I no longer have to strain my ears to hear the PNF call 80 kts, V1 and Rotate.I'm not sure whether this was re-set as a result of the upgrade or not but, since it's a different 'options' panel from the one that originally came with the 600/700 version, I'm guessing it was. It also suggests that the way the volume adjustment works is somewhat cranky since it doesn't appear to adjust all the volumes so much as just turn some of the individual sounds up/down.Paul Croft10 miles SE of EGLL
