At times the FMC shows errors and messages in the pad area.I think a list of these and their reasons would be very useful.Waldo

What do you need to know? The list is quite a long one although not every single real FMC message is simulated on the PMDG FMC. Hi Waldo.To save time it would be useful to know what the error msgs you saw were. The reason being there are operational errors and sim errors. Operational errors can be explained by the list you asked for but that probably won't help with sim errors. When there is an error msg it is common for them to be missing airports or missing runways or syntax errors in the SIDs/STAR/IAPs (procedures). These sim errors is usually caused by real world runway numbers changes, the pilot not using the FMC properly or by using the default procedures that came with the sim. If your procedures are cycles before 0401, it is a good chance they are the problem. Getting the current cycle fixes that. There are also procedures being made by others and uploaded to navdata.at. Some of those have had syntax problems also. Contacting the author should get those errors fixed.The runway numbering problem has yet to have a good fix and operator error is fixed by more training, which can be helped along with that listing you asked for.RegardsTerry
