Hello gentlemen,I have upgraded to the 800-900 version of the NG a few weeks ago.I have noticed that the ACARS is now functional in the FMC. But try as I might, I don't know how to use it:-hmmm I can't find anything in any of the manuals or maybe I'm just not looking in the right place. Can someone tell me what it does and how to use it? Is it just for flying online or logging on to a server? Please forgive me if this has been answered and if this is a silly question.Thank you,Elroy (Like in the Jettsons:P )

I'm not 100% sure about this, but I don't think ACARS is modeled. ACARS does record your gate times in the events section you can use it for block times for a VA.
