August 23, 200421 yr I fly the PSS A320 and PMDG 737 and find the PMDG product vastly superior in ever respect except one...When performing an Autoland in the 737, it simply won't track the centreline during the rollout (even when winds are calm) and veers left or right. It will also respond to manual rudder input with both autopilots still engaged. Is this right??
August 23, 200421 yr The 737NG Does not have centreline steering so this is correct behaviour. Just Disengage the autopilot after it completes the flare.Cheers,Ian Udingahttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/800driver.jpg
August 23, 200421 yr Actually I believe all you have to do is steer and activate the thrust reversers. The model is acting properly. George Morris
August 23, 200421 yr Commercial Member James,as Ian said, there is no Rollout Guidance on the 737NG, meaning the aircraft is not CATIIIb equipped and certified. This is only available on the bigger Boeings 757,767,777 and 747. I'm not sure however whether the 737NGs with a HUD are CATIIIb certified...Regards,Markus Markus Burkhard
August 23, 200421 yr I think it makes no difference.Cheers,Ian Udingahttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/800driver.jpg
