Ive just loaded NG600/700 onto my computer. (FS2004, Windows XP). I cannot work out how to get the TCAS working. Ive done what it says (40nm range, switch to TA/RA on the radio panel etc)without any luck. Does anyone have any ideas??

Make sure you hit the TFC button on the EFIS panel. You can also take a look at this tutorial for further information.http://www.precisionmanuals.com/downloads/...le=419&iType=19Also, try doing a search in the forum on TCAS. You will find a bunch of threads which will be helpful.

Er... does TCAS also work on the default 600/700...? Don't you need the 800/900 upgrade for that...? Not sure since I got both...Anyway, to get TCAS working you FIRST have to switch the transponder to TEST: the TCAS system will be tested and you will hear someone say it has been tested after a few seconds. After that, set the transponder to TA/RA and after that, PRESS the TFC button (which is the button with which you set the range on the ND).

Think you must have the 800/900 upgrade to have this TCAS working.

That was my first reaction, too(that you need the 800/900 series), but then I thought...isn't it possible to install Lee's gauge on ANY aircraft,....so why not the 600/700 series?Sure to be corrected on this one! :-)BR,Frank

You can try to add it as a seperate guage, but traffic information won't be integrated into the MFD. It won't show traffic alerts on the PFD and control won't be integrated into the transponder panel, etc. etc. :-)

A boxed version will be released somewhere in november (as far as I know). That's why I ordered it online: quick and easy and just as cheap! ;)
