Missing new menu-structure in ver 1.3 of 737NG

Featured Replies

HiI have updated my 737NG ver 1.2 to ver 1.3. When I look in the maninmenu under "PMDG" and then choose "About" it tells me that I have ver 1.2.When I check this file: AIRCRAFT/PMDG737-600/AIRCRAFT.CFG in the FS9 directory I can see the version number is 1.3 at the top of this file.Looking at the PMDG menu it do havev the old ver 1.2 style and not the new ver 1.3 style as depicted in the ver 1.4 of the PMDG manual (No 00) which describe the PMDG-menustructure.Why am I not able to see the new menu-structure?CheersLars

Hi Lars,Some of the version numbers you see PMDG uses internally to keep track of different modules of the 737 Simulator, so don't worry, you are up to date if you installed PMDG Service Update 1.3.Version 1.4 of the PMDG manual accompanied the PMDG 737-800/900 Upgrade, so some items in the manual (like the styles menu) are specific to that upgrade.Hope this helps.Best,Vin ScimonePMDGwww.precisionmanuals.comhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/devteam.jpg

Thanks Vin,If it is OK that the "About" menu tells me that it is ver 1.2 then I have no problems with this. Although the "About" menu item aught to say ver 1.3 - don't you agree?LarsPS: Never mind - cause the plane is VERY FINE and it's a pleasure to learn to master it!!
