September 11, 200421 yr Hi All,Has anybody had any problems starting the right (starboard) engine for the 737-600/700. Following the correct start procedure does not work for me. The left (Port) starts without a problem, selecting the switches correctly and then turning on the fuel lever when the turbine is @ 20% but to start the right one I have to use the CTRL+E combination. Then it takes 5 or 6 starts before it coughs and splutters into life, I know it's not a great problem but I would like to know if anybody else has experienced this and has managed to find a fix.
September 11, 200421 yr Commercial Member Billo, the "fix" for this is simple: As per real world procedures turn off the packs during engine start. So nothing wrong with the PMDG airplane. For further information use the search function, this question has been asked numerous times...Regards,Markus Markus Burkhard
September 12, 200421 yr Also make sure the fuel cut off levers are off. That has caused problems if you use CTRL+E start.Ben (EGSS) Ben Hall EGSSProud supporter of Intercity Airways, visit www.ViaIntercity.com
