After using 737-600/700 for a few months with no problem, i now have a problem i am sure it is easy to solve with the help of you guys. I cannot arm A/T anymore at take off. When taking off, and everything is set. I push A/T to arm it But all i get from the A/T is the white ARM message for a second on the PFD. The A/T button also blinks green for a second but nothing happens. The FMC warning light A/T first (red) blinks but i dont know what to do next to get it working...as far as i know i havent changed any settings.I just want to use the TO/GO setting. Many thanks in advance Paul Teasdale

Hi Paul, just make sure your going through everything on the checklist. I know I miss a few every now and then if I don't follow the CK's, and who knows how many times I've flown this bird. It's a lot to remember for one person.

Many Thanxs mat and Travis you guys are just what makes the forums for us newbies so good/valuable.I did not have the gens set correctly i have blue light showing so i switched the gens on and now it works fine,i am also now aware after reading the forums that the Flight director needs to be active which i am sure there is a valid reason for this. Many thanxs guys you are the best!Time to fly!Paul Teasdale
