September 17, 200421 yr Hi SimmersWhat is the current version of PMDG 737-600/700/800/900??Is it VER 1.1 1.3 or 1.4??Thanks
September 17, 200421 yr Please sign you name to your posts, thank you! These are two different sims so they are not the same revision number. The current for the 800-900 is 1.1 July 29 2004. The current (NOT UPDATED to the 800-900) 600-700 is 1.3 Jan 26 2004. Then if you updated to the 800-900 you can update to the optional clickable vc for your original 600-700 versions and so on and so on ;-) Best Wishes,
Randy J. September 24, 200421 yr > Then if you updated to the 800-900 you can update to the>optional clickable vc for your original 600-700 versions and>so on and so on ;-)Randy,on the PMDG website, on the 600/700 page it is stated:-------------"737 The Next Generation Product DetailsGMax 737-600/700 Models - Accurately modeled down to the smallest detail complete with high resolution textures, optional winglets and animated airstairs Dynamic Virtual Cockpit - every switch and lever can be operated with the mouse ...Price: $39.95-----------------here is the link http://www.precisionmanuals.com/frames/737TNG_new.htmIt does not say anything, that you need the 800/900 package to get a clickable VC for the 600/700.So what's the truth now? I shall buy the 600/700, but only if I get the clickable VC for $39.95. Thus this info is very important to me.RegardsWolfgang
September 24, 200421 yr What I stated is correct. I believe that area applies to the 737 SERIES in general but will agree that should not be on the 600-700 page. The 600-700 has limited VC ability without the 800-900 update.Best Wishes,
Randy J. Smith
http://www.rawbw.com/~bdoolin/shinault/Animation1.gifCaution! September 27, 200421 yr Hi Randy,I'm glad, you were not quite right on this one! :-lolDespite I now assumed that the 737NG had not much to click in VC mode I purchased the bird yesterday and immediately did some test flights. How big was the surprise, when I found out, that most switches and instruments on the main panel and the pedestal can be operated within the VC! I could even programm the captain's and the F/O's FMCs from within the VC! Only the overhead is not clickable in VC mode.BTW this is a great product, from what I have seen so far!RegardsWolfgang
