Textures in PMDG views

Featured Replies

I have problems with PMDG textures in 737/600/700/800/900 which have only started in the last few days.Outside views would not put colour in at all. If I try to select a PMDG aircraft in any variation - I have noticed that some of the textures are missing - only half of body showing, no textures on wings - textures missing from engines. When I select that aircraft to fly it appears at the airport like that - missing textures?? This may only be peculiar to my machine but the only programs I have installed are FSCopilot and FS Inn( in that order as per instructions). Even though FS Inn is not on automatic load, when I went to an airport with PMDG aircraft a screen would come up and say that it was loading traffic - even though it appeared to load the traffic in the loading screen before going to airport. I have now uninstalled FS Copilot and FS Inn and my problems with PMDG have gone and I no longer have the traffic screen appearing. Is it just me or coincedence. I now have my textures for outside views showing straight away as per usual and aircraft from PMDG have all textures. traffic is on 90%. Have a AMD64 3200+ with 1 gig mem and WinXP Pro and a load of other scenery installed etc. Denis Brown near EGCC

Denis, looks like you've solved your problem. I know nothing of the two programs that caused your problem so don't have a solution for you, sorry.

Well I have to apologise to FS Inn and FS Copilot - the fault with the textures has returned after a few hours. See attached. Anyone any answers??

Hi,Shot from the hip here. ;-)In Properties for My Computer under the Tab Advanced. Click Performance Settings button. In the new window chose the tab Advanced and check to see that Processor scheduling and Memory usage both are set to Programs.Hope it helps,

Well Matt your shot from the hip killed my little bug - the memory usage box was ticked for system cache - all working OK. Have loaded FS9 three times and rebooted - everything now OK -thanks. Thats one tip to remember. Thanks again Denis Brown
