October 20, 200421 yr Hi there,Does anyone know whether the new version of Active Sky is now compatible with the 737NG. Some of the issues might have been resolved, who nows???Robert
October 20, 200421 yr There has been issues with some FS bugs encountered when using Active Sky and the PMDG NG. They revealed such things basically because both these programs are so state of the art. The issues has been solved for quite some time now. An interim solution at least since AS2004 was released. And now the fixes are integrated into the latest FSUIPC. Don't know if the fixes are available for non-registered users though. This combo is outstanding. And with the latest upgrade to AS2004.5 it became even better.Well, I am a bit biased though... ;-)Hope it helps Mats JohanssonPMDG Flight Test Dept | Asus Z270-A | Intel i5-7600K @ 4.8 GHz OC/H2O | nVidia Geforce GTX 1070 8GB OC/O2|

October 20, 200421 yr >I've never had a problem with them together period...There were some problems noted early on after the release of the new ActiveSky with sudden, severe wind changes while at altitude and improper reading of wind velocity on the 737NG's gauges. The issues were quickly addressed by ActiveSky developers who are noted for delivering great support similar to PMDG. Both these products together create an excellent sim experience.Dave HChief Operating OfficerEagle Express Virtual Airlineswww.EagleExpressVA.com
October 20, 200421 yr I now have ActiveSky 2004.5 and FS9.1 and it all works fine. I used FSMeteo previously which, to be fair, worked fine too.The only odd thing I have noticed since installing 2004.5, is that on both flights since installation, I have punched in a higher altitude and the aircraft has commenced ascent and achieved an indicated climb of anything up to 9500ft per minute for a short time. Now I don't fly real 737's but this seems somewhat high to me. It settles down to a more expectable figure, sure.I have also noticed (which is probably related) that on the descents, the airspeed (and thus presumably the gusts) fluctuate rather a lot - much more than I remember. It'll bust you into overspeed or well in and out of flap limit speeds. In fairness, I haven't completed enough flights to be sure of a trend, but the climb rate thing seems strange to me. That would take some unusual gust event methinx!....... and the chicken salad would probably be scattered around the cabin :)
