Brrrrrrrrrrr ... or something like it

Featured Replies

hi therei have recently purchased PMDG 737 and are having a lot of fun since i dont have a clue on how to use and operate the FMC. But, as time goes by i pick up a few things (manuals are for girls ...).however, every time i select the PMDG it starts with a "brrrrrrrrr" sound in the background - weak, but always there. after flying with some other aircraft, i switced and the sound was missing. but only that once. it sounds like some sort of warning, but i cant find the cause.any help would be appriciated - i'll even consider washing ur car.:-)

Manuals might have answered your question, so you didnt have to ask it here. Im going to guess that "brrr" noise you are hearing is the Recirc fan, or one of the many fans in the NG cockpit. You can take the sound out if you dont like realism, but thats up to you.You wanted realism, you got it.

Its the recirculation fan.You can "dim" the majority of the sound by turning off the fan on the overhead panel. It's not a warning, so don't worry....Regards,Glenn Harrall

If manuals are for girls, then I'm Miles Davis

Hi Ms thx again,>>> ... I pick up a few things (manuals are for girls ...).>> If manuals are for girls, then I'm Miles Davis> nice answer to my question - u must have a lot of friends.Well, your initial statement is pretty arrogant so I sure do understand you get replies like that. BTW. You might want to read up on the forum guide lines. You need to sign your posts with your real name.Regards,
