no green light during autobrakes operation

when the autobrakes on the 600/700 are operating there is no green light on in the indicator above the auto brake switch, is this supposed to light up or maybe my autobrakes are not working,i have checked to make sure everything is configered for landing,i also have the latest edition of 737/600/700 thanks jim mcpherson

Jim,The only lights for the autobrake/antiskid systems are the warning lights for AUTO BRAKE DISARM and ANTI SKID INOP. No green light. Maybe your thinking of the speed brake light?Hope it helps,

hi mats, i wasnt getting mixed up with the speedbrake i read in a other post that the autobrake green light was on but after reading replies to that post a green light on indicates a fualt with the autobrakes, so at least i know that the autobrakes on my 737 work ok. thanks jim

You got it correct Jim,Except that the warning lights are amber/yellow, not green! ;-)Cheers,
