November 26, 200421 yr I believe... someone correct me if I'm wrong. That when you hit LNAV and VNAV, and then activate the FD, the FD will guide you along to the VNAV and LNAV paths, when you engage A/P, all it does is follow the FD.

November 27, 200421 yr Hi,that's all correct, except that you have to switch the F/Ds ON before you switch ON any MCP mode.
