Some developers are working on the 744 only- and some will move between the two as needed....The MD11 will follow the 747-400 by approximately 3 months. Robert S. November 28, 200421 yr Thats good to hear, i was really worried that the MD-11 would be released much later. I am absolutly salivating in anticipation of the MD-11. The 747 is good and I'll get her Im sure, but its the MD-11 that has me antsy and constantly checking the website and forums.Now I just need to get a hold of the FedEx flight routes and I'll be set.
