December 4, 200421 yr Hi everyone,Ive been flying to EGLL for a long time and the main runways have always had the courses 093 and 273.I updated the AIRAC 1104 and now the runways have courses 095 and 275.Does anyone know why? An airac error or they moved the real runways?! :)Many thanks in advance.Armen at EGLLwww.veryquiet.com Armen L CholakianPMDG Sound Engineer
December 4, 200421 yr I have wondered about this in FS for a while (not your particular rwy hdgs) but others. Certainly must be FS...Best Wishes,[h4]Randy J. December 5, 200421 yr Could it be due to changes in magnetic deviation? Because it changes every year slightly.Randy Oldfield
December 5, 200421 yr >Could it be due to changes in magnetic deviation? Because it>changes every year slightly.>Randy OldfieldNo, it can't be magnetic variation. It wouldn't change by two degrees in the space of one year.
December 5, 200421 yr I've looked into this particular problem with PIC. When the course was set to 093/273 did you notice if the Runway was drawn with a slight offset on the NAV display? With PIC I noticed that this was the case, as the TRACK always showed on the EHSI as 095/275 even thou the Navdata and the FS Flight Planner showed 093/273 as the correct headings. I came to the conclusion that when FS9 was created that the default Navdata was updated to show the correct runway headings at the time it was created, but that the actual runways in the scenery were still using the FS8 headings. Does this fit with what you guys have been seeing with the 737?Only reason I ask is that they both use the same Navdata.
