December 7, 200421 yr Hi there,Yeah, this certainly is weird. If you have installed PMDG_Procedures_0412 from Terry the files you mention for LSGG from 2001 and LSZH from 2003 should not have been there at all. Terry' files contains newer ones for both LSGG and LSZH with his header. Also if you have installed the All-in-one from Navdata on top you should have had completely different ones in your SIDSTARS folder. So one or more installations must be corrupted in some way here if you have followed the correct procedures when installing both AIRAC and the Sid/Star files. It's mentioned before here, but I again recommend you to recheck and verify what Michael described in the #3 post here. Also check Buck Buldoc's tip about duplicate folders. If nothing of this helps I suggest a complete reinstall from scratch, Use PMDG's "Removal Tool" and after that manually scan the Fs9 root folder/your drives for any leftover files/folders and delete them. Restart and run the PMDG installer(s) again, then install the latest AIRAC and the latest PMDG_Procedures. Eventually you can install the "All-in-one" from Navdata on top. http://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/checkcapt.jpg
December 7, 200421 yr Alex,You got here in the thread you initiated diagnostics from the top authorities in the PMDG procedure field ie. from Terry, Simon and Per. The logical conclusion of your problem, if none of the advices we have been listing for you work, is that your PMDG version needs to be upgraded to the latest available version. I was under the impression that initial versions of the FMC had all functionalities built in from the beginning and therefore as the procedure syntax was maturing there should have been some kind of backward compatibility. For unknown reason it does not appear to be the case, at least for you. Maybe the PMDG gurus Randy or others can enlight us about this issue. At the end of the day I guess the only advice we can give you is to contemplate upgrading your PMDG to the latest available version if needed with the assistance of PMDG. I am sure they will give you all necessary assistance as they do with every customer.Michael
December 8, 200421 yr I had to rewrite the SIDs STARs for CYYZ because of typing (spelling) errors and incomplete set of fixes. It was not a PMDG issue but a problem with the nav data. I suspect CYYZ is not the only place that is sadly incomplete. It makes many of the Canadian STARs (where I fly) rather useless.
