December 6, 200421 yr Hello all, Lately I have not had the ability to fly in MSFS due to extensive travel and some surgery but this morning I finally was able to spend a little time with my beloved hobby, I loaded up my PMDG 737/700 and had a ball. After the short flight I wanted to fly something else and after trying several things I came to a conclusion, I am spoiled. I have nothing on my system that I really want to fly anymore other than my PMDG 737. I no longer want to jump in the cockpit and go, I want to set up my aircraft properly and push all of the buttons like in real life, I want my aircraft to be of the highest quality inside and out. I have other complex aircraft but the visual quality does not compare to PMDG's, I also have other visually high quality aircraft but they lack the systems that PMDG has. So I have come to the conclusion that I am disappointed in everything that I have other then the PMDG 737, this is the first time anything like this has happened to me in the FS world. I don't know whether to thank or curse the wonderful people at PMDG. :-lol I do know one thing, I am really looking forward to the 744, at least once that comes out I will have a little variety from which to choose. I wonder if PMDG would be willing to quadruple their staff so I can get new aircraft from them at a faster pace? :-lol Thank you PMDG for such a great aircraft, over all I think that my disappointment is a good thing since being able to fly such a great aircraft is extremely rewarding. By the way this post is in no way intended to slight or put down any other aircraft developer, PMDG has met my desires for what I think an aircraft should be in MSFS, there are a lot of other great offerings out there, but this one meets my standards better than the others. Thanks again and keep up the good work!Philip OlsonI'm the luckiest man in the world, my girl friend has a yoke and rudder pedals! December 7, 200421 yr She actually had them before I met her, so I am the one that is impressed! I don't even have a set yet! :-lolPhilip OlsonI'm the luckiest man in the world, my girl friend has a yoke and rudder pedals! December 7, 200421 yr >I want my aircraft to be of the highest quality inside and out. Then you should also try Flight1's ATR (in case you did not). I believe it does meet the above criteria. And being a turboprop it offers flexibility in flying into both small and large airports. Michael J.WinXP-Home SP2,AMD64 3500+,Abit AV8,Radeon X800Pro,36GB Raptor,1GB PC3200,Audigy 2 Michael J.
December 7, 200421 yr Thanks Michael, I will give it a look and see if I can add it to my hangar. It would be very nice to have something else to fly occasionally.
