Hi all,Just got registered. I recently ordered the PMDG 737NG. I want to do a flight from KBHM to KDCA, which is from Birmingham International to Washington National Airport. But when I try to enter the SIDs information for KBHM, it says NONE. Let me explain everything I did:From the menu page, I hit the 1L LSK for FMC. This takes me to the INENT page. I then hit 6R LSK for the POS INIT page. I hit the 6R LSK and takes me to the RTE page. I enter the origin KBHM at 1L LSK and the DEST at 1R LSK. I hit the DEP/ARR button and this takes me to the DEP/ARR page. When I hit the 1L LSK which is DEP, to enter the SIDs, it takes me to the KBHM DEPARTURES page. At 1L LSK, it says SIDs "NONE." So I cannot enter anything from here. Do I have to enter some other information? I'll have to check but I would think that KBHM would have SIDs. Ken.

Aside from the pinned info, I just enter them manually from the terminal procedures charts if they aren't listed in the FMC. KBHM according to http://myairplane.com/ there's only one DP (SID) listed and it simply shows all the surrounding VORs. Not much of a DP. Look here: http://myairplane.com/databases/approach/p...0BIRMINGHAM.PDFI don't have the TPs on paper for this airport either, so I can't say if there's more than one. Happy flying!

Vector DPs (where it's expected that ATC will give you vectors to a fix) such as the Birmingham Three discussed here, are not stored in FMC procedures.Generally, only procedures with defined route segments will be included in the FMC.

Hi all,Yes, I read the Pinned post. I checked the SIDs/STARs for KBHM and there are no SIDs listed. By the way, I have the latest AIRAC and SIDs/STARS. The only thing I know I can do is hit the FIX button on the FMC and enter a fix. This requires me to enter the fix, radial, and distance. I've been looking for a chart that will show this information but I haven't found it yet. Does anyone know where I can find one?Ken.

Hi,I listed the link to the FAA page above.http://avn.faa.gov/digital_tpp.asp?ver=050...5&end=2-17-2005Select your state then select the airport BHM (use FAA) or KBHM (use ICAO).You will see only one DP for that airport. It is the last entry on the list. Name BIRMINGHAM THREE.Hope this helps and have fun.
