April 19, 200521 yr Hello,First at all congratulations for all what you have done already with the B744 -packet. It is very promising to see what level of realisme your guys are reaching already. Now, a question from a cockpitbuilder, will it be possible to interface the functions to real switches and hardware via offsets or key instructions emulation? Many thanks for you most appreciated infoMichel________________________________________________Michel VANDAELEEBOS2002 DesignteamMy B744 project http://users.pandora.be/michel.vandaele/sim1.htm
April 19, 200521 yr Commercial Member Michael-This airplane was designed from the beginning to be more compatible with home cockpit building than the 737 series- but we have not made any specific tests to determine how much more. There is a plethora of hardware and variations on a theme when it comes to home cockpit building, so we are not in a position to guarantee out-of-the-box support for any particular hardware setup.I expect this airplane will be much easier for us to offer you folks support than the NG was- but for now we are focused on completing the airplane and getting it into testing. April 20, 200521 yr Author Thank you very much for this quick answer. I was thinking about for exemple the phidgets interface possibilities, based on offsets. (http://www.phidgetsusa.com/) for exemple. Anyway it is great you guys are thinking to please builders.CiaoMichel___________________________Michel VANDAELEEBOS2002 DesignteamMy B744 project http://users.pandora.be/michel.vandaele/sim1.htm
