Cockpit very quiet

Featured Replies

Hello. Could someone tell me what's the best cockpit announcement program? I'm finding my cockpit very quiet and lonely. ThanksWendy

Hi Wendy,Are you using the PMDG 737NG series? If so, isn't the rattling and buzzing and fanning racket enough for you? :))) Seriously, though the only one I've heard of is FLIGHTDECK COMPANION.I believe it can be configured to run with many different add-on aircraft.... and if you still find it too quiet after this, then we'll have to get you the Preservation Hall Jazz Band straight from New Orleans or AC/DC - to perform right inside your cockpit. Should please your passangers too! :))John

I love flying my "iddy biddy Jumbo"

Not an announcement program, but a lot more - FS2Crew, for the 737NG. I recommend WARMLY..

FDC is excellent and can indeed be configured as you like. There's a setup for the PMDG 737 series in the library here at Avsim.I've not yet used it with the 737 but use it a lot with the PSS Airbuddies and the RFP.

FS Flight Keeper has a pretty comprehensive sound environment package, consisting of announcements/ambient sounds triggered by phase of flight and capable of being customized by the user. Read more about Flight Keeper here: http://www.molitor-home.de/fs/FLKeeper/default.aspBR,Frank

Or check AVSIM for the freeware flight announcement panel. It's doing wonders for me.I have FSD, but havent used it yet. Still reading the docs on it. In the meantime just doing the simple stuff and using the freeware panel off AVSIM.
