Hai AllPlease, please don't follow all that if running with SP2. i have to reformat my Windows after 1 hour struggle on troubleshoot my problem.it getting worse.the best think, not to follow.RegardsShaheedan

Wow... sorry to hear that...I recommend FSautostart (free from Avsim or Flightsim.com) and turn-off whatever YOU KNOW you don't need while flying(messanger, MS Office...), and make sure your disk is defraged before flying. If FSautostart doesn't enable all, all you have to do is to re-boot before starting somethingelse.I have dedicated single partition solely for FS, and used blackviper.com's guide with absolutely nothing installed (not even Media player, adobe reader etc); HOWEVER, I did have some problems at first, too. If you have time and patience to reformat HD, good. Otherwise, don't tweak registry or services!Rickyps. Some of the tweaks listed above is effective! Thanks.

Wealth of information but author doesn't even bother to say where to put some of those entries. DisableExec.. =0 ok, but where???Michael J.WinXP-Home SP2,AMD64 3500+,Abit AV8,Radeon X800Pro,36GB Raptor,1GB PC3200,Audigy 2
