May 16, 200521 yr hi all on the 737 cockpit next to the CMD1 and CMD1 button just below there is also 2 buttons titled CWS what is this? I7-10700F RTX 3070 32 Gig Ram
May 17, 200521 yr Hi Clayton,I think CWS, or Control Wheel Steering, is pretty well covered in the manual. ;-) You could also try a search on this forum for CWS as it has been widely discussed in the past. But in short it's a sort of fly-by-wire technology. You enter an aircraft attitude with your yoke, pitch and roll axises, and the a/c's automatic flight systems will keep that attitude. Roll attitude less than 6 degrees will put the aircraft in level flight with regards to roll axis.On the NG you have two annunciations CWS P, which stands for control wheel steering in pitch mode. And CWS R which stand for control wheel steering in roll mode. You can use either mode independently of the other.Hope it helps, Mats JohanssonPMDG Flight Test Dept | Asus Z270-A | Intel i5-7600K @ 4.8 GHz OC/H2O | nVidia Geforce GTX 1070 8GB OC/O2|
