May 20, 200521 yr How do I track the back course of the localizer during approaches so that the plane flies down to the runway? What button do I push on the MCU Panel? The manual does not discuss how to track the back course localizer. Thanks in advance for all your help.

May 21, 200521 yr MikeU,When you say track the BC LOC I suspect you mean with the autopilot engaged? Push LNAV to track the BC LOC. Tune the LOC frequency, set the front course in the MCP course window and monitor the LOC raw data for accuracy. LNAV will maintain course but you will need to use either VNAV or VS to make the airplane fly down to minimums.Floyd John Floyd
