Trying to give as power power possible for FS2002. So many things on in XP, what do I need on/off?ThanksTim

You just need to do your services in what you need and what you don't need. By either stopping the service, controlling the service manually.. ,etc. Take a visit to www.tweakxp.com or forums.frugalsworld.com and look for a guy named Rilex. He has a site for XP tweaking. Julian

Make sure in control panel/ sytem/system properties/Advanced/performance that you turn off all the effects "for best performance"so all the check boxes are off THis gives you load more for flight sim :)Anniette xxxxxxxxxxx

Make sure you have turned your virus software off :-)Via the service console disable the printer spooler service it free up a lot of resources change startup form automatically to manual.Only disadvantage is if you want to print you have to start the printer spooler first...:-)A good defrag program :-)awfEHAM
