June 20, 200520 yr Is it simulated that if you have APU and both engine bleeds on (dual bleed light on) and you increase the throttle then the engine is damaged and you have to start again?I find that I can apply full throttle and the plane accelerates regardless. Also where can I find a list of exactly what is simulated correctly? Many thanksGraham
June 21, 200520 yr This is not simulated Graham. My guess is FS limitations. Bleeds off takeoffs are also not simulated if you're interested. Maybe they did something about that in the 747...The PMDG dudes can answer you better though. Regards,Victorhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/800driver.jpg Cheers,Victor M. Lima
June 21, 200520 yr >I thought dual bleeds damages the APU, not the engine?>>- NeerajYes, dual bleeds will almost certainly damage the APU if you apply takeoff power. The warning is there to protect the APU and not the engines.Cheers,JohnBoeing 727/737 & Lockheed C-130/L-100 Mechanichttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/ng_driver.jpg
