Could freeware developers patch 2002?

Featured Replies

I'm curious. We all love FS2002 and we all know that it has a lot of problems we'd like solved. We also know that the FS2002 team is not going to help us out with a patch. With all the open ended programing and the SDK's being released, would it be possible to have freeware, or even payware developers patch a few bugs in the simulator itself? What do you ladies and gentlemen think?Obviously there would be some trouble initially with copyrights and all that, but if FS is truly open-ended, why not let the real wizards have a crack at it?>:-) In this instance, "real wizzards" does not include me. :-lol

What do you ladies and >gentlemen think? They might be able to come up with a few work arounds here and there(like what has been done with FSUIPC), but no way could a 3rd party developer produce a patch for FS2002.Regards.Ernie.
