747-400 "Domestic" variant?

Featured Replies

I seem to remember reading somewhere "official" (PMDG website or forum post) that the release will be the "747-400/747-400D". I assumed that the "D" is the "Domestic version" as used by JAL and ANA in Japan. Can anyone from PMDG please confirm? That would be super super cool.....!!!!! (Not that it wouldn't without the D version...)ThanksChris

I may not speak for everyone, but I sure wish the F was coming out instead of the D

>I may not speak for everyone, but I sure wish the F was>coming out instead of the DPerhaps they will add the F as an expansion later on? Like they did with the 800/900 add-on for the 600/700? I'd love to get me hands on this baby in a UPS version meself, but I'll be enjoying her in the meantime in the form of Virgin and Lufthansa.

I hope they make an F has an expansion, as long as it's not $30.

>I may not speak for everyone, but I sure wish the F was>coming out instead of the DYeah, but if you think of it from a business standpoint, releasing the 400D is better than releasing the 400F.When PMDG has an expansion pack, I doubt there would be many sales of the -400D, but the -400F is in high demand, so PMDG will make lotsa $$ David Kisslinghttp://xtremdav45.f2o.org/http://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/ng_driver.jpg http://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/747400.jpg

Look at PMDG's front page...the initial release includes both the standard and domestic versions...nothing mentioned about the freighter. :-hmmm Btw...I already made this mistake in an earlier tread. :-shy
