July 20, 200520 yr Hello. I read that at one point, an update for the 737NG base pack (600/700) package was planned which would bring those models up to the level of the 800/900 addition without requiring people to actually purchase the 800/900 add-on. I don't -think- this has been implemented yet. Is it still planned for some time? My apologies if this long since been covered, I only recently started researching the 737NG packages.
July 21, 200520 yr Commercial Member Not sure where you heard this, but no such plan exists. Sorry.Best,Vin ScimonePMDGwww.precisionmanuals.comhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/devteam.jpg Vin Scimone Precision Manuals Development Group www.precisionmanuals.com

You can start with the 600/700 series which gives you a well rounded, mature package offering many hours of learning and enjoyment flying this state-of-the-art airliner, and you can upgrade later when funds permit. Alternately, if you just have to have the complete package, and money is not the issue, you can order both at once and jump right into the full package. The choice is yours! (PMDG's president Robert Randazzo says a -600/700 update is in the works so later you'll have the option to upgrade that package without buying the -800/900 too.)"I guess that information is outdated. :( Sorry to hear that. I'm not really interested in the 800/900 models, but I'd certainly like to see the updates incorporated in them added to the 600/700 I actually want.
July 21, 200520 yr Commercial Member Gents-I've said this numerous times- AVSim misquoted. Such an update was under consideration, it was never under development. It is no longer under consideration.RSR Robert S. Randazzo PLEASE NOTE THAT PMDG HAS DEPARTED AVSIM You can find us at: http://forum.pmdg.com
