July 28, 200520 yr Hi,The manual states (7-19): "indicates magnetic track (TRK-MAG) in MAP or PLN modes. Indicates magnetic heading (HDG-MAG) in VOR or APP modes. Is this a special airline option? Is is not possible to have HDG up in MAP mode due to program limitation or any other reason?Thank youWalter
July 28, 200520 yr >Is this a special airline option? Nope. I think it is the way it is supposed to be. It is actually very logical. When you are in the MAP mode your primary cue is the track (but you can still see the heading), when you are in anything else - it is the heading since track makes little sense there.Michael J.WinXP-Home SP2,AMD64 3500+,Abit AV8,Radeon X800Pro,36GB Raptor,1GB PC3200,Audigy 2http://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/747400.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_beta_member.jpg Michael J.

July 28, 200520 yr There may be a switch to flip them around - I don't recall this. We have the manual so we can find out ;)Michael J.WinXP-Home SP2,AMD64 3500+,Abit AV8,Radeon X800Pro,36GB Raptor,1GB PC3200,Audigy 2http://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/747400.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_beta_member.jpg Michael J.
