December 17, 200520 yr G'Day GuysAm I right in thinking the only virtual cabin is on the second (upper deck) of the Boeing 747 series 400?If there is a virtual cabin down stairs how do you get down there? I use active camara or somethin. Thanks for any help givenMerry Christmas and all that stuffKimberly.
December 17, 200520 yr You can't get to the bottom floor in VC model(because it's not modeled and would make the 747 and unplayable slide show), but you could use DBS walk and Follow, which uses the spot view model to walk inside the cabin and around the airplane.
December 18, 200520 yr I've active camera installed but when I press the 2, 4, 6, 8 buttons to walk around nothing happens. I'm in VC mode by the way. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance...

There is NO virtual main deck cabin (downstairs). If you start out in the cockpit using Active Camera, simply turn around until you are facing the rear of the aircraft. You have to click on the handle of the cockpit door to open it. Then, you can walk down the aisle of the upper deck, between the rows of seats, all the way to the rear where the stairs are located. You cannot go DOWN the stairs however...Jim Barrett Jim BarrettLicensed Airframe & Powerplant Mechanic, Avionics, Electrical & Air Data Systems Specialist. January 14, 200620 yr One thing is that the door to the virtual upper deck cabin can be opened/closed by clicking the handle. If you're still having trouble could it be that you need to open the door?
January 14, 200620 yr I ve seen this door, and i click on it and i can see the "locket" moving, but the doors dont openeven with active camera i can pas through the door, and i m in the sky...not in cabin :(
January 16, 200620 yr The doors won't be able to open if the "cabin door lock" switch has been flipped. It's located in the center console.
