January 4, 200620 yr >Hi,>>The PFD is still blank or somtimes it is on for a while and>then off by itself when the battery is on, bus tie is auto and>apu is on, why?>>ThomasThe model is 747-400.
January 4, 200620 yr All of the displays. As my understand, the PFD should blank for few sections but the APU is spring back to ON from STAR. But my problem is all display got blank.
January 4, 200620 yr I think it's a validation issue like the hundreds out there. REinstall/Revalidate your 747-400 (Given that it's legitimate of course...)

January 4, 200620 yr Hi, Thomas,I don't think this is a validation issue. Try one (not both at a time) of the following:1. If you use PMDG QoS, re-install FSUIPC and check that you have version 3.4.8 or the more recent one installed. Sometimes this problem (abscence of current FSUIPC) may even cause a CTD.2. Unistall PMDG, then delete FS9 and state.cfg from the Aircrafts folder at C:Documents and Settings...FS9Aircrafts. Then continue with fresh installation of PMDG and check what happens (Don't forget re-edit your FS settings all after this routine :).Regards,Jason R. Regards,Victor Quebec

January 5, 200620 yr Commercial Member Usually, the panels going blank in the PMDG 747 Queen of the Skies is an indication of a validation problem. If you continue to have problems, please contact PMDG at [email protected]. After verifying your order information, we will reset your account and your airplane should validate without further delay. We are sorry for any inconvenience.Best,Vin ScimonePMDGwww.precisionmanuals.comhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/devteam.jpg Vin Scimone Precision Manuals Development Group www.precisionmanuals.com
