Hello, i m Steeve, a 747 addict.i want to create my own flight planas an exemple a direct flight from LFPG to HECA ( paris to Cairo)how do i have to write here in the *.rt2 file ?i open rt2 file for having a exemple, but i dont understand the structure,exemple file: // rt2 v1.0 ADLSIN002 generated 01.06.2005 7 ------> what this number mean ?YPAD 23 ---> runway ? why not 23L or R ?WSSS 23 ---> runway again? -YPAD-ARS----> these things are waypoint ?J187ASA587ONOXAG326BLIA576SJ-WSSS

Hi Steve,The easist way to do this is going to be to create the route in the FMC and then save the flight from there - no reason to mess with writting the rte files by hand...

If you have FSNav Steve, you can get a free download fromthe FSNav website that enables exporting your flightplan(prepared in FSNav) to PMDG 737 an/or PMDG 747 FMCs. Ifyou don't have FSNav, it is a very worthwhile addon andalthough payware, it has been worth every penny. I've beenusing it for years. I just discovered the PMDG 747 exportmod for FSNav and have used it successfully 3 times alreadyto upload my prepared FSNav flight plan to the 747 > basicallyit is accomplished by entering the filename of the planon the FMC's CO Route line, etc. It's GREAT !!Hope this helps.Ken "Elsmoko" Boardman
