Hi,it seems to me to have read somewhere in this forum that is possible to display circles on PD to evaluate distance for alternate airports.I read the same thing on a 777 boeing manual (real airplane) but now I can't find the message in the forum to know what I have to do to obtain this on 747.Thanks in advance and excuse me for my english.Maurizio Balvetti

These are created using the Fix page on the FMC, enter your fix and then enter the range you should see it display in the ND

As above enter the desired fix on the fix page in the FMC. Go down to the dashed lines below and enter the distance you want for the range circle .ie 400 ml would be entered as /400 and line selected with the left hand keys beside the dashed lines. You should be able to enter 3 circles. I am not sure what model of software PMDG are emulating but in the real world you can get 511 mls as a maximum.CheersSteve
