Wing flex on the 747

Featured Replies

There is nothing wrong with the wing flex on the PMDG 747, IMO i think it is near enough to the real thing! I can vouch for that as i travel on the 747 every 4-5 months and i'm such a baby i always cry and spit my dummy out for a window seat next to the wing LOL.The real 747's have lots of wing flex..Some people are so picky

That is true about being picky....at $55 per, sometimes it can be that way...

I'd hate to know how long it would take you to buy a house or a car. ;)

Rick,I understand fully what you guys are saying re the flex not being as smooth as in real life - it's plainly obvious and struck me the first time I saw a QOTS wing video. In fairness though it's a darn good approximation of an extremely flexible wing assembly, probably the best in fs, and if I am not badly mistaken the sometimes 'fidgety' nature of the animation is attributable to gmax, not the developer - it's well worth your $55 imho :)Have a good one.regards,Markhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/747400.jpgXPHomeSP2/FS9.1/3.2HT/1024mb/X700pro256
