How do you enter an alternate airport into the B737NG FMC so that after reaching your planned destination and then having to divert your get the alternate route details and can access the DEST (alternate) to select the duty runway and have the relevant details displayed on the INIT REF page?Neil BYPAD

Hi Neil:In the real 737 FMC two routes can be loaded. So I presume you can load the plan to the alternate airport as route-2 and then activate it.The PMDG-737 FMC can only load one route, so I think the only way to do it is an enroute flightplan modification changing destination (in fact that should be making a new flightplan that will override the previous one when activated).But perhaps some expert can give more light to the matter.Jose Luis

jose,i think you are right it's a limitation with the current NG for FS.
