737-800/900 Departure Roll LENGTHY!!!!

Featured Replies

Last night I purchased the PMDG 737-800/900 and im totally impressed blah blah blah......its pmdg what would you expect. Anyways this morning I departed Newark's 22L which is by no means a short runway. It took me the entire length to get off the ground I was alittle nervous when full back pressure was applied at 145kts and nothing happoned. My gross weight was about 160k. Flaps ten. Trim was not touched but it looked to be around the usual 5. Also a derated takeoff of 24k was used. Im hoping there is some way to make this bird faster or lighter. Alex

I havent installed the service pack because I already started flying. Once the flight is over I will install it.. Could this be the problem?

Was your speed above Vr when you're pulling full nose up on the stick, and it still drives ahead like a Suburban instead of a Boeing?Everytime that happened to me it was the trim at fault. Verify you trim is about 5-6 deg nose up before takeoff. Hope this helps
