New Sound: What is the difference?

OK.. I downloaded the new Sound and installed it. It looked like the install was good. But I am not quote sure I can hear the difference. Its almost identical except maybe more bass. On the other hand, maybe the files didn't get copied over and I just had the bass on my speaker a little louder.How do I tell that I have installed everything properly. How do I tell that I have the new sound and not the same old one...for sure.Mind you.. I started 747 (Warm). But I took off and landed and reverse thrust and everything. The reverse thrust had the same identical sound.Hmmmm.,.....Manny

When did you buy the plane? The main installers were updated with the new sounds too, so it's possible you already had them if you just bought the airplane.

Hi Ryan.I have had the aircraft PMDG 747 passenger for about 8 months atleast. So no.. I did not have the new sound with the aircraft.Is there a couple of files and the file size/date I can check to see if I have the new sound set?Manny

Something must have gone wrong with the installation. There is a HUGE difference and it should be obvious from the first time you use the 744.I would try to re-install them.

On of the big differences I have noticed is at engine spool up and shut down..
