November 28, 200619 yr Is it possible to program FMC that the aircraft is overflying a waypoint (VOR/intersection) exactly and not turning before to the next waypoint? This procedure is asked strictly during examination sessions online. Thanks, Peer Paul Burch
November 28, 200619 yr Hi Peer:That is the difference between Fly-by and Fly-over waypoints. The only way I have found to do it and that works with some acuracy is creating a custom waypoint with some separation from the fix that you want to overfly. The distance depends of the sharpness of the turn and of try-error repetitions. An example:I want to fly to STG vor heading 360 signed: José Luis
